These are the two providers here that route around compounded medication using insurance, and they do it in opposite directions.
Found puts the medication inside the plan price on its compounded route: $99 a month with insurance or $169 cash-pay, both on a twelve-month plan paid up front. Sesame never includes the medication. You buy a care subscription — $99 a month month-to-month, falling to $79, $69 and $59 on 3, 6 and 12-month commitments — and then pay for the drug separately at the pharmacy, from $149 a month up to $1,086 for one Zepbound presentation.
Sesame sells FDA-approved branded medication only, with no compounded product at all. Found’s headline plan is compounded. That is the decision, not the price.

The fork is compounded against branded
Found’s cheap plan is a compounded preparation — semaglutide, tirzepatide or liraglutide the FDA has not reviewed for safety, effectiveness or manufacturing quality, and which is not a generic equivalent. It brokers the branded drugs too, but on that route the medication is explicitly not included in the plan price, which makes it behave much more like Sesame.
Sesame has no compounded option. Everything it dispenses is FDA-approved and branded: Wegovy, Wegovy HD and the Wegovy pill, Zepbound in vial, KwikPen and autoinjector form, and orforglipron. You also choose your own named clinician and labs are included.
So if you want an FDA-approved drug, Sesame is the cleaner structure of the two. If you are open to compounded medication and want a single predictable monthly figure, Found is.

Figures are each company’s own published prices. The annual ranges are our arithmetic and are wide because the drug cost dominates on Sesame and depends on which product and presentation you are prescribed.
They both bill every 28 days, and it matters
This is the trap common to both, and almost nobody does the arithmetic. A 28-day cycle produces 13.04 charges in a calendar year, not twelve. On Found’s $289 cash-pay month-to-month plan that is about $3,769 a year rather than $3,468. On Sesame’s $99 monthly care tier it is about $1,291 rather than $1,188, before you have bought a single dose.
Both companies avoid it on longer terms: Found’s twelve-month plan is paid up front, and Sesame bills once per 3, 6 or 12-month period. If you are committing anyway, the longer term removes the thirteenth charge as well as lowering the rate.
Sesame has the most usable refund window here
Three hours before your initial visit is a narrow window in absolute terms, but it is a real one, and it exists before you have been prescribed anything. Almost every other provider in our comparison closes the door at intake submission or when the medication is ordered, which for many people is the same sitting as the payment. Sesame at least lets you change your mind after paying and before the appointment.
After that first visit there is no refund for the first month, and earlier months are never refundable — so it is a one-time exit, not an ongoing one.
Which one to pick
You have GLP-1 coverage, or you specifically want an FDA-approved drug: Sesame. The care subscription is cheap on a longer term, the medication runs through your pharmacy and your insurance, and nothing you take is compounded. Its cost ceiling is high because branded drugs are expensive, not because Sesame is.
You are paying cash and want one predictable number: Found, on the twelve-month plan. About $1,287 for a year with insurance covering the clinical care, with the medication included, is the most contained figure either company offers.
You are unsure whether you will continue: Sesame, purely for the pre-visit refund window. Neither company is generous after that point, but Sesame is the only one of the two that gives you a decision point after payment.
