Annualized ongoing cost assumes the same price continues. It is not the amount you will necessarily be billed in your first 12 months. Cost alone does not establish treatment suitability or service quality.
How the cost calculator works
Calendar-month billing, three-week billing and four-week billing use different schedules. Three weeks is 21 days; four weeks is 28 days. A 30-day cycle is also different from a calendar month. To compare recurring rates consistently, we use a 365-day year and divide the annualized total by 12 for a monthly equivalent.
- Calendar month: charge × 12 = annualized cost.
- Every 3 weeks: charge × 365 ÷ 21 = annualized cost.
- Every 4 weeks: charge × 365 ÷ 28 = annualized cost.
- Every 30 days: charge × 365 ÷ 30 = annualized cost.
- Every 12 weeks: charge × 365 ÷ 84 = annualized cost.
- Every 3 or 6 calendar months: charge × 4 or × 2, respectively.
- Every year: annual charge = annualized cost.
Then add any separate monthly fee × 12. Divide the combined annualized total by 12 for its monthly equivalent.
Example, not a provider quote: $99 every calendar month is $1,188 per year. $99 every four weeks has an annualized cost of $1,290.54, equivalent to $107.54 per month. Displayed figures are rounded to the nearest cent; calculations use unrounded values.
Is annualized cost the same as my first-year bill?
No. Annualizing expresses the ongoing rate over a 365-day year. Your actual charges depend on the first payment date, billing schedule, upfront commitments, discounts, price changes and any cancellation or refund terms.
What if the advertised amount is only a deposit?
Ask for the full recurring charge and what the deposit covers. A deposit, intake fee or starting price may not be the renewal amount. This calculator does not add one-time fees or estimate missing charges. If a price is displayed per month but charged as a six-month package, enter the full package charge and select every six calendar months.
