TrimRx Review 2026: Pricing, Refund Rules, and Who It Actually Fits

The short version

TrimRx sells compounded GLP-1 medication on a subscription, priced by medication type rather than by dose. It is one of the cheaper compounded options we have priced, it ships to all 50 states, and its published refund policy is one of the narrowest we have read. If you are the kind of buyer who wants the option to change your mind after the medication ships, this is not the right provider for you.

What TrimRx sells

Two product tiers are advertised on the company's own site:

  • GLP-1 (compounded semaglutide) — advertised starting at $179 per month.
  • GLP-1 + GIP (compounded tirzepatide) — advertised starting at $259 per month.

Both are compounded medications, not branded Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound or Mounjaro. TrimRx says so itself: its site carries a notice that compounded medications have not been evaluated by the FDA, and its terms state plainly that a compounded drug is neither FDA-approved nor a generic version of a brand drug. That is the single most important fact on this page, and we think it belongs above the price, not in a footnote.

The operating entity

TrimRx's terms identify the operating company as MetaFit Pharma Solutions LLC. We mention this because the brand name and the legal entity differ, which matters if you ever need to escalate a billing dispute, look up business filings, or file a complaint with a state attorney general.

The refund policy is the real story

Most telehealth weight-loss brands write refund policies that are tighter than shoppers expect. TrimRx's is tighter than most. According to its published terms, a refund is available in only two situations:

  1. You are medically disqualified by the prescribing provider, or
  2. TrimRx made a billing error.

Requests must be submitted in writing within 28 days to the company's support address (hello@trimrx.com at the time we checked). Separately, the terms state that a shipment cannot be cancelled once it has been dispatched, and TrimRx says compounded orders ship within roughly 48 business hours of the prescription being issued. Practically, that means your window to change your mind is short and it closes before the box arrives.

Read that against the alternatives. Trimi Health, for example, publishes a policy that refunds the consultation fee if you cancel before a prescription is issued or if the clinician declines you. TrimRx's second refund trigger — a billing error on their side — is not really a consumer protection at all; it is an accounting correction.

Availability and shipping

TrimRx states it serves all 50 US states. Compounded orders are described as shipping within 48 business hours. We have not independently verified delivery times, and we do not publish delivery-speed claims we cannot test.

About the 4.7-star rating on their homepage

TrimRx displays a 4.7 out of 5 rating. That figure is self-reported and self-hosted — it is collected and displayed by the company, not by an independent review platform. We are not saying it is wrong. We are saying it is not evidence, and no reader should weight it the same way as a verified third-party dataset. We also noticed at least one testimonial on the site carrying a future date, which is the kind of detail that makes us discount an on-site review widget entirely.

Who this suits, and who it does not

Who TrimRx is a reasonable fit for

  • You have already decided you want compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide and understand it is not FDA-approved.
  • You want a flat monthly price that does not climb as your dose climbs.
  • You are confident enough in the decision that a near-zero refund window is acceptable.

Who should look elsewhere

  • You want a branded, FDA-approved GLP-1. Look at insurance-first providers instead — see our provider comparison.
  • You want a meaningful cooling-off period after the medication ships.
  • You are still undecided and want to talk to a clinician before committing to a subscription.

How we sourced this

Every price, refund term and disclosure above was read directly from TrimRx's own website and terms pages on the date noted at the top. We did not use press releases, affiliate marketing copy, or scraped social media comments. Prices and policies change without notice; verify on the provider's site before you buy.

Medical note

This is consumer information about a purchase, not medical advice. GLP-1 medications have real contraindications and side effects. Talk to a licensed clinician who knows your history before starting, stopping or switching any prescription. See our medical disclaimer.
