Gala Health Review 2026: One Price for Every Dose, With a 3-Month Minimum

The short version

Gala Health (also called Gala GLP-1) sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide at one price for every dose: from $179 a month on a yearly plan or $199 a month on a 3-month plan, with no membership fee, free shipping, provider messaging and a companion app.

It has one of the largest review bases in the category (4.6 out of 5 from more than 4,200 Trustpilot reviews), but the commitment is real: there is no monthly plan, and its refund policy only refunds you if a provider turns you down. Its BBB file also shows dozens of complaints in the past year.

What Gala does well

Where it stands out

  • One price at every dose. "If a higher dose is recommended, it will be available at no additional cost." You will not pay more as you titrate up.
  • No membership fee. Provider messaging, dose changes and medication switches are included, with free shipping.
  • Both main compounds. Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide at the same price, plus a microdose plan.
  • A big, recent review base. 4.6 out of 5 from 4,243 Trustpilot reviews, most of them from the past year.
  • An app built for GLP-1 users. Progress tracking, an injection log and refill reminders, plus live coaching sessions.

What it is not

  • Not month-to-month: the shortest compounded plan is 3 months.
  • Not refundable once you start, except if a provider disqualifies you.
  • Not transparent about pharmacies: none are named.
  • Not an oral or drops provider: injections only.

What it costs

Gala prices compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide the same way. Its homepage FAQ quotes "$199 per month (with a 3-month plan)" and its weight-loss page shows "from $179/month" on a yearly subscription. Third-party reviewers report the 3-month plan is charged as $597 up front and the yearly plan as $2,148; Gala's own pages do not show those totals.

Treatment Published price What the page says
Compounded semaglutide injection $179–$199 a month Weekly injection, all doses included
Compounded tirzepatide injection $179–$199 a month Weekly injection, all doses included
GLP-1/GIP microdosing $149 a month (yearly) Prices on Gala's own pages conflict
Ozempic from $1,299 a month Branded, cash price
Wegovy pill Coming soon Waitlist only
NAD+ or sermorelin $199 a month, or $118 on a 12-month plan 28-day supply

FSA and HSA cards are accepted and no insurance is needed for compounded plans. For comparison, CoreAge Rx lists compounded tirzepatide from $129 a month with the same price at every dose, and Strut Health charges a flat $219 for tirzepatide month to month. Compare every provider in our tirzepatide price comparison.

The commitment and refunds

Because the shortest compounded plan is three months, Gala suits people who already know they want to stay on treatment for a while. If you want to try a GLP-1 month to month first, a provider such as bmiMD or Strut is easier to start with.

Read the refund policy before you pay. Gala's policy (updated February 2026) gives a full refund if its medical provider disqualifies you. Beyond that, the policy says refunds are not issued, and any refund that is approved covers only the most recent billing cycle. Damaged or incorrect medication is replaced by the pharmacy.

Microdosing

Gala sells a GLP-1/GIP microdosing plan. Its app landing page lists it at $149 a month on a yearly plan, which matches outside reviews, but its own microdosing page shows the standard $179 figure. Confirm the price at checkout. Our microdose GLP-1 guide compares microdose plans across providers and explains what the evidence does and does not show.

Who can sign up

Gala says it serves all 50 states. Adults 18 and over qualify for compounded GLP-1s with a BMI of 30 or more, or 27 or more with a weight-related condition. People with a history of medullary thyroid cancer, MEN2 or pancreatitis are excluded. A video visit may be needed for the first consultation; follow-ups happen in the Gala chat.

Who runs it

Gala is operated by AI Coaching Inc., doing business as Gala GLP-1, with a registered address in Wilmington, Delaware; its press materials place it in San Francisco. Co-founders Javi d'Erausquin and Fede Buldin are named in its January 2025 press releases. Gala says it provides technology and administrative services, not medical care: prescribing is done through affiliated medical groups named in its terms (Junction, an OpenLoop affiliate; Reliant.MD Medical Associates; and MECNB Physician Services), and medication is dispensed by third-party compounding pharmacies it does not name.

Reputation is mixed in a way that is common for fast-growing GLP-1 brands: 4.6 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 4,243 reviews, but a C+ rating and 40 complaints in three years on its BBB profile, mostly about support response times. We found no FDA warning letter addressed to Gala.

Who this suits

Suits: people ready to commit to at least three months who want one flat price no matter how high their dose goes, and who like an app and coaching alongside their prescription.

Does not suit: anyone who wants to try a GLP-1 month to month, anyone who needs a flexible refund policy, and anyone who wants oral or drop formats.
